internet explorer 8 has been released.
now, i really hope nobody who reads this actually uses internet explorer, but if you’re an update junkie…
apparently, this is supposed to be a pretty “revolutionary” new design that makes a lot of progress, especially in the standards-compliance/security departments… and it’s also supposed to be very fast — they focussed a lot on making it as fast, if not faster than everyone’s favourite: firefox. i don’t see it being much faster than google chrome though… that thing is a speed demon (mostly because it doesn’t have many features or extensibility).
